Residential Solar Water Heating Appliance
How It Works
The process is relatively
simple: the sun's energy is harnessed through solar
collector panels, transferred through a heat exchanger
to a storage tank, and then available to provide hot
water for washing, cooking, and radiant and space
heating. Your existing hot water heater provides an
auxiliary heating source, with the renewable solar
heated water meeting the primary demand, and providing
a significant annual energy savings. The appliances
do not affect the quality of hot water produced nor
the speed at which the water is heated. They do offer
a long operational life, minimal maintenance and an
affordable alternative to rising energy costs.
