L Bracket


Hook Bracket

The EnerWorks collectors have a proprietary bracket system. Safe and very flexible, it allows for sloped or flat roof, rack or wall mounting to best meet your needs.

EnerWorks offers two main models of mounting brackets: "L" brackets and "Hook" brackets. With the L brackets, a tab under the collector allows the use of a single bolt to support and attach the collector to the mounting surface.

The Hook brackets are highly recommended for ease of installation. In addition to the tab under the collector as used in the L bracket, a second tab acts as a hook and allows the installers to safely rest the collector's weight on to the strut channel before inserting the channel bolts. This is highly beneficial during installations in difficult roof-top positions, preventing the need to manually support the weight of the collector while fastening the bolt.

Each bracket has an eyelet to enable secure lifting of the collector by rope, carabiner or cable. The brackets mount on to strut channels which are supplied with the mounting kit. Spacers under these channels allow water and snow to run off effectively.

The entire mounting system has a low profile, increasing its aesthetic appeal. Together with the collectors, the system has passed wind load test requirements with positive and negative loads, meeting CSA standards. These tests simulate wind speeds of 208 km per hour (126.7 mph).
