EnerWorks develops and manufactures
proprietary renewable energy appliances for residential
and commercial markets. The EnerWorks appliances are
the world's first, in-home, renewable energy products
that supply energy to the user for less than the cost
of grid electricity - solar energy for around 6¢
per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
In the residential market, the EnerWorks'
Solar Water Heating Appliances complement existing
electric, natural gas, propane, or oil water-heating
services, providing the users with clean energy and
a real reduction in the user's energy costs. Next
to space-heating and cooling, hot water heating is
the largest single demand on home energy consumption.
Appliances are distributed through plumbing &
HVAC dealers, new home & renovation contractors,
renewable energy dealers, utility service providers
and green community organizations.
The EnerWorks Solar Water Heating
Appliances are the first of a diverse range of solar
thermal products to be offered by the company. Other
product innovations being investigated include integrated
solar thermal/photovoltaic appliances, solar monitoring
and metering, solar-assisted heat pumps, solar space
and pool heating, and solar cooling.
In the commercial and industrial
markets, EnerWorks is at the forefront of turnkey
solar thermal solutions. We work with local project
partners to design, install, commission and maintain
alternative energy systems for a full spectrum of
commercial, industrial and large-scale residential
applications. We work with local distributors to identify
and qualify opportunities and we pride ourselves in
helping customers move through the sales, design and
installation processes.
